  • Dear all,

Please complete this BUFVC survey if you have 5 minutes to spare (or would like to win an iPod shuffle).

    Dear BUFVC Representative

You may be aware that the BUFVC is conducting a Shared Services Feasibility Study which is surveying the availability and accessibility of television and radio programmes recorded under the ERA licence in UK higher and further education institutions.

To help us elicit the opinion and comments of academics and students who use off-air recordings we would like to enlist your help in disseminating a short survey via your library website, library blogs or newsletters, or any other communication routes. If there are specific students or teaching staff whom you feel would like to have the Survey e-mailed to them directly, please feel free to do so giving the link http://tinyurl.com/broadcastsurvey. The closing date for completion of the Survey is 18 May 2009. The attachment gives an outline of the project, suggested introductory text for the postings, and a direct link to the survey.

If you have questions about the Television and Radio Recordings Survey and/or its distribution among your students and colleagues please dont hesitate to contact sharedservices@bufvc.ac.uk or telephone 020 7393 1502. For more general information on the project see http://www.bufvc.ac.uk/sharedservicessurvey.
